17 terrorists killed in helicopter gunship strikes in northwest Pakistan

Seventeen terrorists have been killed on Friday (November 29, 2024) in two separate operations when Pakistani safety forces’ helicopter gunships focused their hideouts within the nation’s restive Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

The intelligence-based operations have been performed within the Bannu and the North Waziristan districts, based on safety sources.

In the Baka Khel space of the Bannu district, 12 terrorists affiliated with the Hafiz Gulbahadur group have been eradicated as choppers struck their compound.

The second operation was carried out within the Hasso Khel space of Mir Ali, North Waziristan, the place 5 militants have been killed.

A big cache of weapons and ammunition was seized from the militants, sources stated. Security forces additionally launched pictures of the killed terrorists.

The operation is ongoing, with reinforcements arriving for the safety forces.
